Trip back to YK

Our trip back to Yellowknife went well. Starting in Thunder Bay, we stopped in Kenora, ON, then Oak Lake, MB, then Regina, SK, then North Battleford, SK, then Edmonton, AB, then Grimshaw, AB, then Yellowknife, NT. Some highlights were our leisurely stay in Regina and the lightning storm that rocked the Battleford on our first night. A lot of kilometres behind us and it's good to be home!

Trip to Dublin

I'm finally getting around to posting about my trip to Dublin. It was a great trip - very memorable and I even learned a thing or two. I spent most of my time walking around Dublin, visiting all the sights and going on all the tours. I also spent a fair amount of time going to various events related to the 50th International Eucharistic Congress, which was going on that week. The Congress events and exhibitions were good, although a bit crowded. I saw the Guinness Storehouse, the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, Dublin Castle, Croke Park and most of the downtown churches. I walked through most of the parks and got to know most of the area pretty well. I also took a day-trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Galway City and the Burren, which was quite nice. Unfortunately, I did not get to all the museums I would've liked to and I didn't get to tour the Dail, which I regret. I was not a very good photographer but here are some pictures I took.
